The suicide case of Bangalore engineer Atul Subhash shook the country. Atul Subhash committed suicide after being harassed by his wife, but before committing suicide, he wrote a 24-page suicide note and recorded his ordeal in a video. In the suicide note, Atul Subhash blamed his wife Nikita Singhania and her family for leaving no option for him.

BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut's statement has come out in the Atul Subhash suicide case. Kangana said that this case should be reviewed, as well as a separate body should be formed to deal with such incidents. Kangana Ranaut said that the country is in shock. The actress said, "As long as marriage is connected to our Indian tradition, it is fine. But when it gets connected to communism, socialism and feminism, then a problem arises.
Compensation worth crores was being demanded
Kangana said that crores of rupees are being demanded from him (Atul Subhash), which is beyond his capacity. Kangana said, "This is reprehensible. Such a burden should not be put on the youth. However, Kangana's last opinion on this matter was not liked by social media users. The BJP MP ended her statement by saying that the number of women being harassed every day cannot be denied by taking the example of a wrong woman. Kangana Ranaut said, "In 99 percent of marriages, men are at fault, so such mistakes happen."
