India’s squad took home the trophy at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 after thrashing New Zealand in the finals match. Throughout the match, both Indian bowlers and batsmen were in peak form. The Indian team was given a target of 252 runs that they easily chased. Sharma captain scored 76 runs which earned him the title of player of the match. In the ICC tournament, a fielding medal is awarded for every game played by the Indian team. This award goes to the player who has the best fielding performance in the match. The special medal was presented to Ravindra Jadeja after the match for exceptional performance.
