
Govardhan Puja 2024 Puja Samay: In Hinduism, Govardhan Puja is organized 1 day after the Diwali festival. This festival is celebrated every year on the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month. On this day, there is a ritual of worshiping Lord Shri Krishna and Govardhan ji. Govardhan Puja 2024 auspicious time
According to the Vedic calendar, the Pratipada date of Kartik Shukla Paksha is starting on November 1 at 6:16 pm and it will end on November 2 at 8:21 pm. In such a situation, Govardhan Puja is being organized on 2 November 2024, Saturday, and on this day the auspicious time for morning worship will be between 6:35 am to 8:45 am. At the same time, the auspicious time for evening worship will be between 3:25 pm to 5:30 pm.
Govardhan Puja Method
On the day of Govardhan Puja, after bathing and donating in the morning, one should worship the cow, calf, and bull with devotion. After this, the puja should be organized. If Govardhan Mountain is not near the house, then one should worship Govardhan Ji made of cow dung. Offer him throat, flowers, incense, lamp, naivedya, betel, and Dakshina, and offer fruits and sweets made of milk and butter to Lord Govardhan. Along with worshiping Lord Govardhan, worship Lord Shri Krishna as well and offer him sandalwood, basil, flowers, etc. After the puja, complete the puja with the Aarti of Lord Govardhan.
