This segues into the fact that Grandmaster D.Gukesh will be making his debut at the Tata Steel Chess tournament making a huge third world champion. That edition of the tournament starts on Friday.
Gukesh has not competed in the World Rapid and Blitz tournament held in New York last year, making this his first action in quite a while after beating Ding Liren of China in World Championship Held in Singapore december this year.

Over the past ten or so years, Anish Giri has always led the Dutch campaign, and this time he had the assistance of Jorden van Foreest and Max Warmerdam.
Two other participants from India are also competing in the additional section as ladies and have also proven to be triumphant in the past twelve months or so, which is absolutely astounding.
Along with Divya Deshmukh, R Vaishali, sister to the famed Praggnanandhaa, will return to the wrestling ring. Both were members of the Olympiad women's team who clinched the gold medal.
