Adani Group companies paid a total of Rs 58,104 crore in taxes during the financial year 2023-24, a significant increase from the Rs 46,610 crore paid in the previous year. This amount covers a broad range of contributions—including global taxes, tariffs, and indirect taxes—borne by the group’s portfolio companies.

The Tax Transparency Report for FY 2023-24 (covering April 2023 to March 2024) details these contributions, which come from the group’s seven listed companies:

  • Adani Enterprises
  • Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone
  • Adani Green Energy
  • Adani Energy Solutions
  • Adani Power
  • Adani Total Gas
  • Ambuja Cements

Additionally, the report includes taxes paid by three other listed companies—NDTV, ACC, and Sanghi Industries—which are held by the group.

Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, stated, "As one of the largest contributors to India's exchequer, we believe our responsibility goes beyond compliance. He added that by voluntarily sharing these reports, the group aims to build trust with stakeholders and set new standards for responsible corporate conduct.
