In a recent interview with critic Anmol Jamwal, lead actor Unni Mukundan spoke with great sincerity about the efficacy of the film on streaming platforms and he pointed out : “Honestly, I do not see OTT working with Marco well, that is crystal clear. I am going to get ripped apart for, say, the logic, etc. certain kinds of cinema are meant for cinemas I want to take you where you want to cut out from this world.”

Mukundan further clarified the aspects of the film which were the chief sources of annoyance from the viewers, the violence in the film being his main point of concern. He maintained that the expectation that violence in movies has an effect on real people is unrealistic, as he puts it: “I do not want to insult the thinking capacity of the people by assuming that the violence on the movie screen has had an impact on them. It is the force of attraction of the situation which is making them feel so not because they think we are bad.”
