Saif witnessed this event as he stirred awake at night, and as such, the robber didn’t get the chance to steal whatever he desired. To cut to the chase, it was an unknown assailant who assaulted Saif.The Bandra police have logged an FIR and are actively tracing the culprit. An IPS officer of high rank spoke “Saif Ali Khan is currently at Lilavati hospital where they are observing him. At this point, it’s uncertain if he is stabbed or hurt or injured, due to the scuffle with the burglar. We’ve been pursuing the issue. The crime branch in Mumbai is also taking an interest in the case and is investigating this particular situation.”
