New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan was attacked with a knife over the course of robbery and the recent news from Chhattisgarh details a suspect that was also a part of the stabbing. Deepak Kanaujia, a suspect has been detained from MP. The police have been trying to catch people that fit the visual description of the assailants.

Mumbai Police provided the Chhattisgarh police with a photo of an accused who was allegedly involved in the attack and they agreed saying that the person is the one arrested at the railway station. This could be the main suspect in the case in which Saif Ali Khan was attacked.

Around the time of the incident, the Shalimar Gyaneshwari Express arrived in Durg from Mumbai at roughly 1:30PM. During the incident, the suspect was seated in the general compartment of the bus. A Mumbaikar team is scheduled to arrive in Durg sometime between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
